Prostate cancer is the third most common form of cancer, causing death in men of all ages and most common cause of death for men over 75. Though the incidence is more prevalent among men sensitive to alcohol and or men exposed to cadmium, all men are at risk. Environmental factors include exposure to herbicides and farming, tire plant workers, painters.1 Other lifestyle factors include a high fat diet2, and nutritional supplementation all of which cause a hormone imbalance, due to aromatization or other metabolizing factors.3
We have a tendency to think of estrogen as a female hormone, its true women possess much more estrogen, but estrogen receptors are not limited to female organs. A newly discovered type of estrogen receptor is found in the heart, the brain, the vascular system, and in men, the prostate.4 Estrogen amazingly slows the aging process down in both sexes.
Pueraria Mirifica (PM) is a root extract from a plant in Thailand, which provides all the benefits of estrogen, without any known risks. In the area of Thailand, where the plant is derived, there is almost no cases of breast or prostate cancer, people rarely suffer from osteoporosis, difficulties associated with menopause and andropause are nonexistent. The locals eat the root in their salads, and these individuals are virtually devoid of hormone related degenerative disease, including prostate cancer. Pueraria Mirifica is loaded with the phytoestrogen miroestrol that also improves cardiovascular function and reduces cardiovascular risks.5
Extracts of PM can dramatically inhibit the stimulating estrogen receptors on breast cancer cell lines, in fact, they can kill breast cancer cells.6 But this beneficial root isn’t just for women. One study from the Molecular Cancer Therapy study shows how plant estrogens activate receptors and suppress tumors. PM specifically activates beta-receptors, in fact, miroestrol is about 3,000 times more active on these beneficial receptors than soy phytoestrogens. We know isoflavone phytoestrogens of the soy variety are associated with less prostate cancer, implicating PM can help the prostate better than soy and Pueraria Mirifica is a more potent, more effective, more beneficial stimulator than isoflavones is soy.7 |
Butea Superba extract is also a beneficial ingredient included in the Max Prostate Specialist, naturally reducing prostatic hypertrophy and carcinoma health issues. In addition to it benefiting the prostate, Butea Superba also enhances sexual performance and sexual interest in men. 8
Recent studies have indicated Aloe Vera as having antitumor properties, and seemed active against stomach and colon cancer cells as well as leukemia.9 Aloe Vera contains anti-tumor agents, including emodin and lectins. According to Cancer Cover-Up by Kathleen Deoul, Aloe Vera boosts the immune system, giving a promising contribution to cancer treatment.10 Aloe Vera’s Extract can help the body heal itself from cancer and damage done during conventional cancer therapy. In a past study, lectin from aloe caused the immune system to attack cancer. It seems aloe activates macrophages, the white blood cells that eat antigens, causing release of immune-boosting and anti-cancer substances such as interferons, tumor necrosis factor, and interleukins.11
