The human body produces its own
estrogen, part of this process is called Aromatization.
After the age of 50 years old, this process is more
accelerated and becomes even more prominent, setting
up potential major problems for woman with familial
history of breast cancer, uterine and ovarian cancer.
For man , Aromatization exacerbates prostate hypertrophy
and increase risk of cancer due to increased levels

In the article published by Osborne CK, et al, “Estrogen
self proliferation and implication for treatment of breast
cancer” Cancer Treatment Research 1988, reported
that the increase of estrogen level for women lead to
a potential increase in cancer particularly in cervical,
ovarian, breast and endometrium.
Extensive research confirmed recent studies that Brassica
vegetables have strong active ingredient in
the form of Indol-3-Carbinol (I3C). I3C
shows promise in cancer prevention as well as an estrogen
hormone modulator, reported by Vonpoppel GFO, et

When I3C is ingested in the stomach, and mixed with the
stomach acid, another very active and more powerful ingredient
Diindolylmethane (DIM) is produced, which is a vital natural
compound known to have potent anti cancer and anti tumor
properties. Both I3C and the converted DIM has proven to
lower the circulating estrogen, estradial (E2) by quickly

In order to get sufficient amount of I3C and DIM, a person
has to eat very large quantities of vegetables such as
broccoli or 103 pieces of Brussels sprouts, ¼ head
of raw cabbage in order for it to do any good, many people
find these dietary requirements impossible to meet on a
daily basis, therefore, the National Cancer Institute and
the National Cancer Prevention Center have shown interest
in the natural cancer prevention agents for breast, cervical,
endometrial, colorectal cancers as well as prostate cancers, I3C

In males, the aging problem of hypertrophic of prostate
and prostate cancer becomes more severe as we advance in
age when the level of estrogen rises from the aromatization
of testosterone into estrogen produced by our body. It
is believed by many researchers that both I3C as well as
DIM has an important part to play in mitigating the effects
of estrogen on prostate cancer and prostate hypertrophy.

Beyond cancer, I3C and DIM also play an important beneficial
